About Us

Welcome to SkyPlanner. We’re a 5-star, full service, Salesforce Consulting & AppExchange Partner specialized in helping businesses (just like yours) get the most out of their Salesforce experience.

Founded in 2011 as a joint venture between three friends, we set out to help entrepreneurs like ourselves, streamline their business operations. Fast forward ten years later, and we’ve grown into a multilingual, multi-disciplinary team of system architects, business analysts and South Florida’s largest group of Salesforce certified developers. Today, we specialize in helping companies of all shapes and sizes across the Americas, leverage the power of Salesforce to do more with their business.

The first “SkyPlanner” Software prototype is completed and SkyPlanner is born. This prototype is later sold to CubaMax.

SkyPlanner signs its first Client, CubaMax and becomes a US registered company.

Co-founders, Rene Raul, Jorge and Rene quit their day jobs and join the company full time. The trio pivot their plans to provide .NET and Salesforce consulting services.

Co-Founder, Jorge Fernandez becomes the Salesforce Miami, FL User Group Leader and hosts first event at CIC Miami. Later in August, the team hosts their first co-sponsored event with Salesforce in Bogota, Colombia.

Rene Raul

Co-Founder & Managing Director

A bonafide tri-athlete and an ironman competitor who loves the outdoors. Rene Raul is a seasoned software developer, solutions architect and leader in the Miami Tech space with 12+ years of experience in technology and computer science. Passionate about Salesforce and simplifying complex processes, Rene spends his days helping customers get the most out of their Salesforce investments. Rene began his career as a software developer working with International companies including TracFone Wireless and Acceller Inc., before co-founding SkyPlanner in 2011. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from FIU and the University of Havana. When Rene is not overseeing operations, sales and marketing at SkyPlanner, you can find him kitesurfing, playing outdoor sports or competing in triathlons.

Jorge

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Loves playing the drums + is passionately pursuing the perfect South Florida pilsner. Jorge is a seasoned business analyst, software developer and a leader in the Miami Tech space with 14+ years of experience in designing and implementing business applications for a wide-range of verticals including Financial, Food & Beverage, and Logistics. Passionate about electronic processing systems, Jorge developed the first Check Conversion/Check Verification application that was later used by major retailers including Target, Schnucks and U-Haul. Today, Jorge spends his days providing customers with top-notch, tailored Salesforce solutions. Jorge began his career as a software developer and business analyst working with international companies including ESC Bridge and Encircle Payment Solutions, before co-founding SkyPlanner in 2011. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from FIU. When Jorge is not hard at work monitoring SkyPlanner’s growth or providing customers with valuable insights, you can find him tasting pilsners around South Florida or jamming out to Los Van Van.

Rene Rodríguez

Co-Founder & Managing Director

An adventurist & certified scuba diver, whose bucketlist includes exploring all 7 continents. Rene is an experienced data scientist, Salesforce developer and leader in the Miami Tech space with 15+ years of experience in technology and computer science. Passionate about trends, product innovations and Salesforce, Rene spends his days with boots-on-the-ground, managing SkyPlanner’s day-to-day operations and keeping customers up-to-date on the latest technology. Rene began his career as a .net and Salesforce.com developer working with international companies including Tytorean, and Saveology.com, before co-founding SkyPlanner in 2011. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Havana. When Rene is not networking with potential partners or overseeing client projects at SkyPlanner, you can find him scuba diving off an exotic island or traveling the world in search of the next big adventure.
